Pātikitiki - a traditional Māori pattern, the shape is based on the lozenge or diamond shape of the flounder (flat fish) This pattern resembles abundance & prosperity
Niho Taniwha - also a traditional Māori pattern & like Pātikitiki, it is found in Tāniko and Tukutuku (ornamental lattice work) often depicted as a series of triangular shapes representing lineage & connection
